Arm broke off - appalling quality

My wife bought one of these in Berlin last week and was very proud of it. 30 seconds later, my son, curious about the beckoning arm, gently pulled it forward, and it snapped immediately.

Summoned to fix this contraption, it was clear to me that the quality of the plastic was extremely low and very thin. The arm is held on by 2mm x 4mm of cheap grey plastic, in a location that could potentially face stress. Very poor design. The axle of the arm should be metal. For 30 euros, I expect much better
